RECENTLY AFTER THE TEMPLE FUNCTION...

We finished the function and started the ride back to our village.

You were behind me, with Durga.

You wrapped your little arms
around my stomach...

and slowly fell asleep against my back.

And I remember thinking...

“This feels like
a daughter resting safely
with her father.”

Nothing big happened.
No words were needed.

Just that quiet hug on the ride home made me feel unbelievably blessed.

We heard this song through one movie at Chithi's house during the kovil function, on the last night we stayed there together with pavi, sabari and chithi.

I didn't know that one day, this song would become connected to such a special memory.

It takes me back to that night, that place, and the time we spent together. And honestly, whenever I hear it, I miss you so much.

Sometimes, that memory makes me a little sad and scared… because I’m afraid that one day things might change and we may not be this close anymore.
